Bangkok through my eyes!

Since this was my first solo trip and that too international, I was a bit apprehensive. Add to it the news of protests in Bangkok against the Thailand Government ;) But when I was in the boarding area of bangalore airport while departure, I happened to meet a backpacker who was going for 12 days in thailand for the first time. He was working in Dubai in IT industry. He does not work in any country for more than 2 years it seems. Anyway, I lost him once we boarded the plane. I was all alone again.

The next morning I landed at the BIG Bangkok airport called as Suvarnabhumi airport. Don't be surprised to see such hindu names in Bangkok and thailand in general. There are places in bangkok called as Indra Square, Rama Road etc., 95% of the people in Thailand are Buddhists. And people of thailand originally come from Southern China. In Bangkok, I met a group of three people from Bangalore, two of them working in the same company as mine. I had found my company in thailand. We first went to pattaya on first day. Its a 2 and half hour journey from Bangkok. The roads are really good in bangkok as well as to Pattaya.

After 2 days of fun in pattaya which included a visit to Coral island and water sports and other notorious activities ;) we headed back to Bangkok again for next 2 days. Bangkok is very much developed than Bangalore. It must be atleast 15 years ahead in terms of infrastructure, roads, connectivity. People in bangkok are generally friendly and jovial except for few weirdos. Its a common sight to see people always chatting on their iPhones on the go, especially in Metro called as sky train. 

Thai girls in Bangkok are very fashionable! And look cute as well ;)

There are autos in bangkok and they are called as 'TukTuk'. We also visited a few Buddist temples. 

We spent almost one full day in Safari world and Marine park. One thing about Bangkok is the market of duplicate electronic goods which are made in Korea. You can get a copy of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 which is exactly similar to original at less than half price. Well, not only this you can buy Samsung galaxy tab 4 as well, which is not known to SAMSUNG as well :P. There is iPad 8 available lol. And ya, you can buy an iPhone 5C which has android running in it lol. One good thing about Indians in they can be found everywhere in the world :D. Indians seem to have a good share in this market as well.

Trip to thailand isn't complete without visiting Phuket. So there will be many more trips in future!
